PT Sterling Tulus Cemerlang (STEM) today held its annual event Customer Gathering 2014 for its customers at Hotel Pullman Jakarta. The theme for this year’s gathering is LIKEABLE COMPANY: How to Become One.

Andy Djojo Budiman, co-founder of STEM, opened the event with a brief history of STEM which started only with 3 employees back in 2006. STEM’s commitment is to help clients in implementing the right solution which eventually will give them competitive advantage. Andy acknowledged the importance of support from clients, stressing that without those support STEM would not become the company we know today.

The event featured a talk on Customer Experience Management by Djoko Kurniawan, Senior Consultant of Business, Franchise & Service Quality. Djoko presented how companies can build customer intimacy through Service Excellence with the ultimate goal to achieve Customer Experience. In his talk, Djoko emphasized that doing business nowadays is not only simply selling products or services, businessmen must also think of providing Experience and Happiness.

Hendry Widjaja of STEM continued the series of talk with another interesting topic on how technology can bring positive impact to business. The essence of his talk is that technology has now become one of the backbone required by a company to stay competitive but may no longer provide competitive advantage as technology adoption becomes the norm. On this leveled playing field, good strategy coupled with solid and innovative team become the differentiating factors that provide a company the competitive advantage.

The last session was about STEM Support Team. Esaf Aristides explained about the Team which is manned by consultants dedicated EXCLUSIVELY for support. Their mission is to resolve issues as fast as possible hence reducing any impacts on clients’ daily operations.

All attendees enthusiastically followed all the sessions. The event ended with lunch where everyone mingled with each other. Souvenirs were also given to all attendees. See you at STEM CUSTOMER GATHERING 2015!
